Who We Are

Science and medicine are at the core of CTPharma’s history and mission. Early on, we had a vision for the legal marijuana industry—to bring safe and high-quality medicine to market by merging our knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry with leading plant research and cultivation practices. We drew on our experience in FDA-regulated businesses to launch CTPharma in 2014 at a 15,000-square-foot facility in Portland, Conn. We quickly assembled a team of cultivation and operations experts who helped the company develop more than 15 types of products, from premium-grade flower to tinctures, edibles, and tablets.

 We continue to research and develop new products that help alleviate symptoms of chronic conditions, including AIDS, multiple sclerosis, glaucoma, cancer, and other illnesses. Recent developments include a groundbreaking FDA-approved clinical study with the Yale School of Medicine as well as other current studies at Yale and the University of Connecticut School of Agriculture.

Facility

In 2020 we opened a 216,532-square-foot high-tech cultivation and production center in Rocky Hill. The facility is the largest marijuana production facility in the state of Connecticut and among the largest in the United States.

Our secure facility is completely environmentally automated. A central computer system controls, monitors and records the temperature, relative humidity, light cycles, and carbon dioxide in the growing rooms. This helps us to further develop and optimize our growing process.
